Diet//plus is a product developed by Datamed for the operational and managerial needs of the department of nutrition and cuisine. Various diets or Groups of diets followed by the organization are recorded and coded, with the ultimate goal of managing and planning the daily material needs of the organization as well as the follow-up cost of meals for patients and staff. A key element of the operation of the program is to link with any Integrated Hospital Information System in order to provide data of the diet followed during the patient’s hospitalization period.

The main features of the system are:
 
 • Filing, observation and management of prescribed diets at any time (day, week, month) 
 • Programming of diets for both patients and their escorts
 • Programming of meals for staff on duty
 • Management of daily diets, consisting of diets / Food / Recipes for the preparation of different meals
 • Kitchen Warehouse Management (Warehouse of Consumables and Materials).
 • Observation of orders and contracts for each supplier of consumables and materials.
 • Food control and monitoring of shipments (expiration dates, etc.).
 • Ability to support food control procedures according to HACCP standards
 • Communication with the Office of Turnover, Patient Billing in order to make the corresponding charges
 • Updates to the accounting and auditing Circuit and printing of all necessary statements of follow-up for the above operations
 • Ample printing and reporting.
