A web-based solution for more flexibility
The TD-Synergy Web Module, TECHNIDATA’s Internet technology application, provides enhanced data access and information delivery that enables the laboratory to provide added value to the services offered to patients and to care providers. Using the TD-Synergy Web Module, requests and results can be managed via Internet and Intranet.
Through an Internet browser, installed on either a PC or a suitable portable device, care providers can conveniently request tests, manage sample collection (incorporating identification and transportation needs), and access test results. The TD-Synergy Web Module software can be launched from any application able to send a Uniform Resource Locator (URL), and can also check for information on another intranet or Internet site.
The TD-Synergy Web Module forms an integral part of the new TD-Synergy – TECHNIDATA Laboratory Information Management System – product line. In a multiple site configuration, it can consolidate and present results from multiple TD-Synergy applications or other vendor systems, hence offering an operational solution for consolidating regional healthcare data.

The TD-Synergy Web Module also reflects our vision of how patient information from different sources, such as radiology and pharmacy departments, should be managed and integrated to provide a coherent patient medical record.
The browser draws on a repository of URLs to consolidate and present all available patient information whenever needed. This approach not only offers increased security and reliability through distributed systems but also provides ¤best of breed¤ solutions according to individual departmental needs, where the expertise exists to both manage and present generated information to care providers.
