The TD-Synergy Histology / Cytology module provides histology and cytology laboratories with a flexible and powerful tool through which the operator has direct access to facilities that manage each operation.
The TD-Synergy Histology / Cytology module makes maximum use of Microsoft Word processing capabilities, with report templates definable for each discipline, specific Word instructions for selection and insertion of frequently used texts, and voice recognition.
It also enables the use of SNOMED codes, one of the most powerful Micro glossary capabilities available, covering morphology, etiology, disease, procedure, function, local codes, etc. For more information: www.snomed.org
Our user interface ensures users are presented with all relevant information to complete a particular task. For instance, in the preparation window, the user can easily define the number of blocks to be generated from each specimen as well as the various types of preparation required (e.g. decalcifying) or stains to be performed.
In addition, specific block instructions can be entered for each block on a worksheet. Default stains can be defined for each specimen type in a Topography Code Dictionary and of course additional blocks and stains can be added at any time during the processing of the specimens.
