The TD-Web, Internet application developed by TECHNIDATA, utilize new technologies to widen access to laboratory data and operations from remote users. TECHNIDATA, a large, internationally acclaimed French company specialized in developing applications for Medical Laboratories, represented in Greece and Cyprus from Datamed SA, is monitoring developments in the field of Medical Informatics, has a strategic partnership with it. TECHNIDATA, world leader in computer laboratories has more than 700 installations worldwide.
With the TD-WEB, via a PC or a handheld computer (PDA), may be entered ordering tests, managing the collection of samples and access test results from health centers and collaborating with Nicosia Hospitals (eg Makarios Hospital).
The Order entry Subsystem TDWEB assume management of all operations related to the creation of application for review of work (eg selection of patients, specimen collection, identification and authentication of received samples from the laboratory, etc.). The introduction and modification of information, such as the identity of the applicant for examination, the estimated time of sample collection, any urgent orders investigation procedures become short and simple. After the order entry of a to test is imported in the TD-Web print labels ''barcode'' and the necessary paperwork to accompany the sample, according to specific needs. Moreover, generated list of samples to collect with a breakdown by department, by room or even by type of examination.
