Datamed, in cooperation with IBM, has completed the computerization of the Hospitals of Nicosia and Famagusta, the object of which concerned the supply of IT software systems and providing all necessary services for installation, configuration, interconnection and operation support of the Integrated Information System Health of the two hospitals.
In this project DATAMED offered the following products
The Hospital Information System (HIS) medico / / s, a product of SIEMENS MEDICAL SOLUTIONS, leading company manufacturing computer systems health institutions, the exclusive representation of which has DATAMED for both Greece and Cyprus, with the following subsystems.
• Patient Management Subsystem
• Medical Subsystem
• Radiology Information System
• MIS
The Information Technology Laboratory Information System (LIS) TDLab / / plus, product of TECHNIDATA, leading company manufacturing computer systems Laboratories, the exclusive representation of which DATAMED has for both Greece and Cyprus. Datamed also implemented and specialized statistical processing subsystem (MIS)
• Specialized S TD-Micro and TDHisto / Cyto for the computerization of microbiological and pathological laboratory
• The Information System BloodMed, developed by DATAMED, for the computerization of the blood center and the blood bank.
• Communications Subsystem (Interface) applications through HL7
• The specialized subsystem x / / carta (Smart Health Card),
• The specialized information systems TDWEB, a full interface with the LIS, which are by orders laboratory tests from different health centers in the Nicosia Hospital and return results to them.
Additionally, as part of the project, DATAMED offer the following services:

• Support services (operation support system, knowledge transfer, user support, on-the-job training, technical support and maintenance functions to ensure good services, Helpdesk) during their pilot and production function (SLA) of the project in the context of subsystems mentioned above
• Training of human resources at functions / services of these subsystems
